Wondering how this whole thing works?
It really depends on you and your needs. The truth is, there are lots of different ways to get a brand where it needs to go, so every journey Waxwing takes with a client is different. But we do have a simple program that helps us get from point A to B.
SAY HELLO
So you like our work and think we might be a good fit, but have a couple questions before we get started. This is where you reach out and say hello! Fill out any one of our contact forms and we’ll get the conversation going.
CONSULTATION + INITIATION
We’ll start things off with a call to get the download on your business, brand and goals. Then we’ll follow up with a proposal, along with a contract. After returning the signed contract and 50% of the total estimated, we’ll review timelines, creative direction, and get to work!
RESEARCH + STRATEGY
It depends on the project, but often (for new clients especially) we start with research. We look at the market, make comparisons to competitors and figure out what we need to do so you can reach your business goals.
DESIGN
This is where pen meets paper, or track pad meets Photoshop. We’ll work up ideas (sometimes sketches, sometimes wire frames, sometimes both), which leads to mock ups and eventually polished piece for review and approval.
DEVELOPMENT
Once we have final approval, we being producing the final materials. This can include building an ad to a publishers specifications, populating a SquareSapce site in-house, working with our developer on a custom Wordpress design, or reviewing a brochure with the printer before it goes to press.
LAUNCH
After all of our hard work and collaboration, this is when your materials - be it business cards, a website, digital banner ad or dynamic business presentation - are released into the wild. From there, the remaining 50% of the total payment is made to Waxwing before project finalization.
